Slot Volatility, RTP, or RNG?

I’ve been looking into the mechanics behind online slots, and there's a lot going on! Between the RTP, volatility levels, and the RNG, it’s tough to tell which one matters most. High volatility means bigger but less frequent wins, while low volatility slots pay more often with smaller amounts. And then there’s RTP, which varies by game, supposedly giving us better long-term odds. For anyone who's tested these settings, do they make a real difference, or is it all just luck in the end?

Honestly, it depends on your playstyle. Low-volatility, high-RTP games might give you more consistent wins if you’re in it for the long haul. RNG makes it unpredictable, but those stats do add up over time.

Hey there! Totally get what you’re saying. Slots can be tricky with all those terms! From my experience, volatility affects how often and how big wins come, while RTP gives you a rough idea of long-term returns. High volatility means rare, big wins, and low volatility means smaller, frequent wins. I’d say just play what feels fun, and set limits so you enjoy it without stressing over the details.

So RTP might sound boring but think of it as your game’s ‘loyalty’ score. More RTP = more trust over time. Not as fun as big wins but hey, it adds up!

I honestly think these metrics don't really make that much different at the end of the day.. I usually just go with games that I like and that's it :D
