Hey folks, I’m heading to Missouri next week for work (and maybe a bit of play ), and I was hoping to catch some action on WNBA games while I’m there. I started digging into Missouri sports betting, but things seem a bit all over the place.
First off, is sports betting legal in Missouri? From what I’ve read, it seems like the answer is no... for now. There’s been a lot of buzz around it, and I found out people have been asking for it for ages. So, did sports betting pass in Missouri this year? Spoiler alert: Nope. Lawmakers keep dancing around it, but nothing solid has been finalized.
For now, it looks like you’ve got to cross state lines to get in on the action. Kansas and Illinois are already in the game with fully operational sportsbooks, but sports betting Missouri is still in the queue. It’s frustrating because I’d love to put a little wager on a WNBA game while I’m there, but I guess I’ll have to get creative.
If anyone knows of a good setup for betting in or near Missouri—legally, of course—let me know! Or maybe I’ll just enjoy the games without the extra thrill of wagering... Nah, who am I kidding? Any tips?
