Will Online Casinos Change Now That Trump Won?

Hey folks, so with Trump back in office (never a dull moment, eh?), I gotta ask – any thoughts on what this might mean for online casinos in the U.S.?

With the guy being all about business and "making deals," maybe we’ll see some shake-up in regulations, especially with all this chatter around “freedom” in the markets. Does this open the door for more online gambling freedom, or is it just gonna be more red tape? 🤷‍♂️

I'm in Atlantic City and feel like I should know, but honestly it’s all guessing until things unfold. What do y'all think – more opportunities for online casinos or the same old restrictions?

Do you guys think Trump winning changes anything for online casinos? I don’t see him focusing on it tbh

Interesting question, Dr.peeper. Trump’s business focus could mean some leniency, but honestly, there’s a lot of unpredictability in policy shifts. It might bring a few tweaks here and there, but I’d bet big changes are unlikely. Online gambling regulation has always been slow to budge.

If any changes come, they’ll likely focus on regulations and taxes. Online casinos might face more scrutiny, especially with crypto involved. It’ll be interesting to see if the administration cracks down on certain sites.

Good point. Crypto’s definitely on the radar lately. Hopefully, they won’t make things harder for casual players just trying to enjoy some safe gaming.
