Proper twisted joke init, casinonic toss me a tenner back yesterday cos "I'm loyal" and I swanned round the flat like I'd won the pools... Then this morning the letting agent pings me bout council tax arrears and suddenly that £340 pending looks like thin gruel. Had it sat there since tuesday night, even told mum I might clear the petrol card proper this time. But nah, brain doing the maths: 340 minus 195 arrears minus 70 to Dave still leaves me 75 for spins and that's "responsible" ain't it? Swear the second a bonus lands every bill in glasgow gets a whiff and multiplies. Anyone else feel like the universe queues up invoices the moment you hit withdraw?

Aha felt this - cleobetra lobbed me a tenner cashback yesterday and I was doing the same victory lap in my dressing gown (tissues flying everywhere, flu's brutal) til I remembered that 780 I'm actually up since monday... Turns out when rent's paid already that tenner just feels like the universe buying you a beer instead of laughing at you. Keep the heater going mate
