£340 Cleared this morning and I'm already trying to make it mean something it doesn't

Proper daft but I've checked the bank app four times since 9am. Not even big money, just... Clean. No clawback, no "technical issue," no bonus funds pretending to be real. Casino Bello actually paid out and I'm sitting here with my cold takeaway curry like I've cracked some secret code.
Thing is I've got this new site lined up. Mate's been banging on about it for weeks — "better RTP on the Megaways," "actually replies on live chat," all the usual. And I'm already halfway convinced that *this* one's gonna be different. Same way I was convinced in March when Cleobetra gave me that £400 hit. Still remember the exact spin, still reference it like proof of something. Proof of what though? That I can be up? Everyone's up sometimes. That's not skill, that's just... Tuesday.
The flatmate moved out last year after finding me at 4am crying over a Dead or Alive session. Not even that down, just — you know when you've been spinning so long the sound becomes your actual heartbeat? She didn't get it. Fair enough, most people don't.
Anyway. Weekend's here and everyone's got plans. Mates are off to some cabin in Loch Lomond, partner's doing their mum's birthday. Just me and the radiator clicking and this £340 sitting there looking like possibility. The dangerous kind.
Might just leave it. Might move it to savings where I can't touch it. Might log in to "check something" and —
You know how it goes.
Anyone else get twitchy

Still in the middle of it: under the weather. But yeah, I get the four-check thing. Had a casinonic mirror drop clean last week — no clawback, no "manual review" — and I still refreshed the wallet for an hour like it'd vanish.
Youre not daft, youre just calibrated to the usual beat. Clean payout feels like a signal when it's mostly just variance smoothing out. £340'S real money but the pattern youre hunting — that "no drama" predictability — that's the itch, not the number.
Tbh if youre checking four times already, youre already mapping it into some rhythm that probably doesn't exist. I do the same. Set the alarm for cashback, miss it anyway. The relief never lasts long enough.

SophiaScott I feel you on the four-check thing. Did the same with a mBit hit last month, cleared 2.1X at 35x and still kept refreshing Exodus like the TX would reverse itself. Clean hit's a different drug when you've been burned before.
Your casinonic drop going smooth's the outlier though, not the baseline. I chased a bit more than sensible this week, knew the EV was gone after hour two, kept at it anyway. The math turns ugly and I chase anyway, every time.
Small green beats sitting with losses but you're right—it doesn't *mean* anything. Just a cleared tab. I'm flat tonight, fever finally broke, but that itch don't need a reason

3Am refresh on a cleared tx — thats the fever stripped bare, isn't it. Used to do the mempool dance myself back in the lock-group days, like watching the block would somehow stop a clawback.
Wtaletlmop, the 35x hit sticking — thats the shape of it. Four-check morning means you're still waiting for the shoe to drop even when its already landed. goldenbet run's still breathing here but I know
