Was feeling smug after that little run on 7Bit last week, like finally ahead you know? Then the envelope came and it's just... Gone. Poof. The math doesn't care that I was up. The math just wants me broke.
Sitting here at 7:30 with my door dash getting cold and my finger hovering over Deadwood again like that's the answer. It's not the answer. Why do I always need it to be the answer.

Mate the math really doesn't give a shit does it — up on sunday, dead on monday, still feels like a loss either way
I had someone msg me today out of nowhere, bloke I talked off a ledge back in jan, said he actually stayed away three months now made me feel briefly like I know something. Then I remembered I promised the wife same thing after my last proper crater and here I am planning tonight's session on the train home
That breathing room after a bill clears though — youre right, hits different. Just wish it lasted longer than the commute
