That bonus hit different at the time, proper buzz — cleared clean off GoldenCrown, even sent the missus a screenshot like I'd solved something. But sat here with the calculator app open (aye, actually open, Tuesday night tradition), and I'm working backwards through April's deposits and it's... Not pretty. Think I was maybe £600 deep chasing that hit? £700? The numbers go mushy after a point.
And the sickest part — that £340 didn't even touch the overdraft. Just vanished into the usual. Council tax renewal this week, car's making that noise again, and I'm sat here with £200 of this payday somehow already committed to "recovering position" on the same site that paid me four months ago. Like it's owed to me or something.
The win's not even a win anymore, it's just... Evidence. Proof I *can* so I *must* again. Anyone else got a "good month" from spring that's aged like milk?

Did the same in march when that 1800 hit… yeah, felt that sent mine to my brother—he still owes me rent from 2019, thought id look like the hero for once. Couple weeks later im back in the hole chasing the same dragon, difference is he never saw the minus. Funny how the forum sees the screenshot before the hangover

HarperYoung that steering vs spinning thing — ngl that's exactly it. When the small stake actually *lands* you feel like you outsmarted the thing, not just fed it. Had that once on GoldenCrown, 40p into Wanted Dead, proper "look at me now" buzz.
