A lesson in patience at the blackjack table

I had one of those “life gives you a sign” moments the other night while playing live dealer blackjack. Sat down with a small bankroll, just looking to relax. First few hands? Absolute disaster. Every hit felt like the universe telling me, “Not your night.”

Normally, I’d take a deep breath, let it go, and walk away. But something told me to stay patient. Slowly, the tide turned. Started hitting 21s, the dealer went bust a few times, and suddenly I was back in the game. Ended the session up, but more importantly, I felt in sync—like blackjack was just another wave to ride.

Funny how gambling can be a reflection of life. Anyone else ever have a moment like that?
