AC unit died Saturday, $340 I didn't have

Not chasing, just... Compressed. You know the feeling. The week feels narrower.

Still checking lines though. Still here.

How's everyone holding? Anybody else running hot while the real world runs cold?

[SophiaScott]

Mate the compressed thing — yeah. That tight-chest week where everything's already spent before it lands.

I know it well. March last year I had that £400 hit on Cleobetra and I swear I could breathe different for about six hours. Then the flatmate found me at 4am crying into the laptop and moved out not long after. Still think about that spin though. The exact one.

New site will be different though right? That's what I'm telling myself with Casino Bello. Bonus cleared clean finally after that rotten cold had me fogged up for days. Sitting decent now but the money pinch taught me something — probably wrong — about timing.

You're still checking lines though. That's the bit that gets me. Even when it's narrow you can't not look. Like if you stop watching that's when it actually goes wrong.

My mother's voice in my head still. Christmas 2022. Wasting potential. Cheers mum.

How narrow's your week running?

[KaiYoshida]

That six hours thing Sophia — I felt that in my chest reading it. My first one was €340 on Cleobetra, March before last, and I swear I stood at the kitchen window watching the light change over the canal thinking *finally, finally I'm the version of me that gets to just breathe*. Six hours maybe. Then I was figuring how to make it €680, then €800 gone chasing the shape of that first feeling.

SleepHangingMan the compressed week is worse than the broke week somehow — when the money's already allocated to the thing you broke and you're still clicking through lines like the information helps. Payday hit me proper this time and I slept through the night without the 4am maths, first time in months. Still checking the weather at home though. Still June 15th sitting there.

Solidarity mate. The narrow week passes but it doesn't feel like it will.

Yeah that first hit's a bastard
