Anyone Here Bet on Surfing Comps?

I've been hittin' up local surf comps in Cali and started throwin' some bets down on the side – not huge, just enough to keep things spicy. Anyone else bet on surf comps or other beach sports? It’s way more fun when you know the guys out there, but I’m wonderin’ if there’s like a reliable way to call these things or if I’m just wingin’ it.

Totally I’m used to calling shots on volleyball, but surf is a whole different vibe. Any tips or insights?
