I was holding a decent pair, completely convinced I had the table under control—until one player, who had been quiet all night, went all in with a straight flush. Needless to say, I was stunned! These days, I’ve been trying to replicate that excitement with online poker here in the UK, but it’s not quite the same. The fast pace and lack of physical interaction make it harder to enjoy the strategic side of the game.
