Best advice for Bitcoin novices

Honestly, I’m lazy.

I spend tons of time online looking at cake recipes or judging people’s cars but I can’t get stuck in with Bitcoin research because it’s heavy reading that maybe I don’t understand.

I do understand the whole currency for the people thing, how finite it is, how it isn’t fungible etc but I am unsure about how to navigate owning BTC.

If you could give any advice, say in a single sentence, to a novice such as myself what would it be??
