Caesars gave me more freeplay after my last big hit

Alright, so here's the scoop from my weekend shenanigans. After last week’s massive hit, my host at Caesars called up and offered me some December return freeplay. Naturally, I wasn’t going to let that slip by. I did my usual casino crawl—hit up Circa, Wynn, Venetian, MGM, and even Rio to collect freeplay before circling back to Caesars to see what magic could happen.

Now, I’d already been on a heater earlier, converting 186% on video poker (feeling like an absolute genius, by the way), so I figured I’d push my luck. Why not, right? About 25 spins in, the slot gods smiled again. Nothing too crazy at first—breaking even, a couple of chance spins paying just enough to keep me going. Then, boom—another big one.

I decided to lock it in instead of playing it off. There was this grumpy old dude nearby who kept pestering me for cash. He had the audacity to demand I give him money so he could “take over” after I got paid. Like, seriously? Instead, I handed out $500 to five other players in the high-limit room and gave him a grand total of NOTHING. Petty? Maybe. Satisfying? Hell yes.

Stats for the nerds:
In: $10,000 freeplay
Out: $100,000 in wire, $32,800 in cash after tipping and spreading the love.

Oh, and for the skeptics, yes, I do start my mornings with a four-leaf clover and horseshoe… strategically placed

Always good to hear about a smart lock-in. Walking away while ahead is a skill. As for the grumpy guy, no shame in letting him stew. Entitlement doesn’t fly in my book
