G'day mates! Been soaking up the atmosphere here in Melbourne for the Aussie Open. The tennis has been fantastic, and I'm really getting into it.
I was just reading an article about the tournament, and it's got me even more keen for the finals. They're saying Djokovic is a slight favourite (-165 according to BetMGM Sportsbook) against Zverev (+135) in the men’s semifinals. Even with his leg issue from the Alcaraz match, he’s still the man to beat. That's some interesting Australian Open betting right there.
The article also mentioned Sinner is a massive favourite (-1600!) against Shelton (+875). Those Australian Open betting odds are pretty lopsided! Makes you wonder if there's value in a long shot bet on Shelton. It’s a bit like finding a hidden watering hole in the outback – a long shot, but could be rewarding.
It's not just the men's singles though; they've got the mixed doubles final happening too, with two all-Australian wildcard teams going head-to-head. That's the first all-Aussie mixed doubles final at the Australian Open since 1967! Makes you proud to be an Aussie.
The article also mentioned Aryna Sabalenka is close to winning her third consecutive Australian Open title. That's some serious dominance!
Anyway, the article has all the details on how to watch the rest of the Australian Open on TV (ESPN and Tennis Channel in the US, apparently), the schedule, and more about the Australian Open betting odds. It’s good info for anyone wanting to get into some Aussie Open betting. I've been checking out the odds on a few different platforms myself, including MyStake and Freshbet, just to compare things. It's always good to shop around and see where you can get the best value on your Aussie Open betting.
Who do you guys reckon will take home the titles?
