Found that screenshot again — Cleobetra, Book of Dead, August 2022. $80 In, hit the books just right, walked with something stupid. Posted it then deleted it like a coward. Still see those reels when I'm three hundred down and chasing.
Payday was Friday. Told myself this time, this time I'd just clear the rent cushion proper and walk. Instead I loaded Cleobetra chasing that same sound. Three hours. Dead spins, bonus teases, one scatter off everything. The breathing room's already half-gone and I'm sat here at 10pm with the drizzle against the window wondering why I still think that hit owes me something.
Dave reckons I romanticise it. He's not wrong. But you know when you can *feel* a session turning before the balance even confirms it? That dread in your gut while the autoplay's still running? Yeah. That.

Mate that 800x ghost is real init — I done the same with Cleobetra back when, 600 on a fiver deposit, felt like *proof* yknow, like I'd cracked some code finally
And then same night mate same NIGHT I was chasing the feeling again, ended up reloading twice, vapor by 2am
That screenshot you deleted though — that's the bit that sits with you isn't it? Cos you remember the *height* of it not the numbers. I still think about that 180 I hit off Goldenbet's loyalty fiver last week, ran it proper for like an hour, felt untouchable, then midnight hit and I was back at zero messaging the rep like "any chance another cheeky one" knowing full well

Posted it then deleted it like a coward — nah mate, thats just the win talking, not the truth. I did same with a Full Tilt screenshot in '09, buried it deep after the second deposit went sideways. Ghost stays with you longer than the balance ever does.
