Donbet's 150% looked generous till I did the maths at 3am

So I'm sat here with this rotten cold still clinging on, 60 degrees and grey outside, and I've just done the thing I told myself I wouldn't. Donbet's welcome package — 150% up to 750 plus 50 spins — looked like a soft landing for a small punt. I ran the deposit through their bonus, cleared the wagering by some miracle, hit a decent four-figure balance.

Then I did the chase.

Not even a big one. Just "let me see if the slot's still warm." Twenty minutes. Balance halved. Another twenty. Halved again. By the time I hit withdraw I'd given back more than the bonus was worth in the first place, and the whole thing landed at 2:30am with that hollow aftertaste where you know you were up and you talked yourself out of it.
