Fever's back, throat's shot, and I keep checking the balance like it'll disappear if I blink. Sister still hasn't replied to the thing about GA. The Haitians going quiet out there, TPS ending, whole neighborhood pulling inward—feels like that. Like I'm winning into a void.

Mate, the balance-checking thing — thats the fever talking, or maybe the fever just strips the pretence off it. Ive had nights where I couldn't sleep without hitting refresh, like the numbers might evaporate if I wasn't watching.
