Ever gone against the book and felt brilliant (or not)?
Hey, blackjack lovers!
So, I’m not a pro by any stretch—just someone who enjoys the thrill of the game. But have you ever had that moment where you decide, “The book says this, but I’ve got a feeling”?
For me, it’s those times I’ve stood on a 16 against a dealer’s 10, hoping for a bust. Basic strategy says hit, of course, but sometimes the gamble pays off… even if it’s only 1 in 10 times. When it works, I feel like a genius!
But then, reality hits (literally), and the dealer wipes me out in the next round.
What about you? Do you ever go rogue at the table? Got a wild success or hilarious fail to share? I’d love to hear about those moments where we feel like we’ve outsmarted the game (if only briefly).
