Alright, here’s what went down yesterday. FanDuel had CJ Stroud’s rushing line at O/U 25.5 yards when he already had 24 rushing yards. I figured, "perfect time to live bet the under." But then, not long after, they corrected it to 26 yards even though Stroud didn’t rush for another yard the rest of the game.
What made it weirder? My bet was still live, and I could cash out if I wanted. On top of that, CJ Stroud 25+ rushing yards was still available to bet on, like they hadn’t fixed the line completely. I decided to let the bet ride instead of cashing out—and I lost.
When I contacted FanDuel, they hit me with the classic, "You're responsible for verifying player stats" excuse. Seriously? They make a mistake, but I’m the one paying for it.
Here’s my question: if I’d bet the over on one of their bad lines and it worked in my favor, would they have honored it, or just voided the bet to protect themselves? It feels like they win either way, and we’re just stuck taking the losses.
Anyone else dealt with something like this? This has to be reportable and illegal right?
