Hoping to get a nice thread here on how to choose games when sports betting. Me, obviously I always start by focusing on sports or leagues I'm most familiar with.
I avoid betting on games just because they’re popular or have high odds; instead, I look for matchups where I see value - l like when I think the odds don’t accurately reflect a team’s chances. I also consider factors like injuries. But also, I think I have a fault in that I bet just for the sake of watching a game and making it more enjoyable.
Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a checklist you could follow, and if the game didn’t fit it you just wound’t bet at all?
