Commute home, headphones in, and the ESB bill sitting on the seat like a mortgage. Thought I’d bang through the last €45 for the laugh, hit a 480x on that new dog-racing slot, and the cascade just kept feeding. Cashed out on the Luas, got the confirmation email before Tara Street. Still wired, still broke, but for once the numbers landed before the panic did.

Still in the middle of it: riding a good win myself so I know that feeling. Proper air in the lungs like you said. But then you clock the bill on the seat and its like... Deflate.
Had that exact thing last week, ESB equivalent landed just as I was feeling bulletproof. Half the win evaporated before I'd even done anything stupid with it. Now I'm sat here trying to not even look at Cleobetra til Friday. Which is going great obviously.
