Green finish on paper, still felt like a loss

Cleared a small bonus on DragonSlots last night — 40x, nothing heroic, actually hit the WR and cashed €180. Should feel like a win, shouldn't it? Sat there staring at the confirmation email like I'd forgotten what green looks like. This cold's had me fogged for four days now, playing slower than usual, missing obvious holds on double-ups. Maybe that's why I nursed it so carefully — no chase, no tilt, just mechanical grinding at 40p.
And yet. The breathing room landed this morning and I'm already braced for what takes it back. That's the pattern, isn't it. Small wins feel bigger than they are when you're waiting for the next pinch. Payday's close enough to taste but I'm already calculating whether I seed Goldenbet early or hold discipline till Friday.
Anyone else finish ahead and still feel behind? Or is this just the head-cold talking.

That hollow bit hits different fr — know exactly what you mean Felix. Green's green but that ten minute high hitting different when the phone rings right after. Drowning-in-neon has cooled off for me now, back to earth, but I still measure relief in cleared bills not in wins. You walked away with the €180 though, that's the bit that matters even when it don't feel like it

Yeah that hollow bit — you nailed it. Green's green but its not *solid* green you know? Like you can still feel the shape of the loss underneath, even when the number's positive.
Im still in the middle of it: rent loop myself so that ten minute high is all I get before the maths starts. Phone rings or it doesn't, either way im already calculating backward — how much down for the week, how much this "win" is really just a smaller hole.
Drowning-in-neon cooling off hits tho. Had that myself lately, decent mood for no reason then 8pm hits and youre staring at four tabs again.
