Hearthstone esports 2025 roadmap

Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the 2025 roadmap for Hearthstone esports, introducing a more accessible and engaging competitive scene. The structure for this year revolves around two Masters Tour Championships and culminates in the prestigious World Championship.
Qualification Process
The competitive year is segmented into three distinct Qualification Periods:

• Spring (March/April)
• Summer (June/July)
• Last Chance (September/October)

Players can earn Competitive Points by securing a top 100 finish on the Ranked ladder during any month within these periods. Accumulated points determine eligibility for various tournament stages, offering multiple avenues to qualify for major events.
Masters Tour Championships
Each Masters Tour Championship will feature 16 elite players:

• Six from the Masters Tour Playoffs
• Ten based on Competitive Points standings

The top four performers from each Championship will secure their spots in the World Championship.
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)
For those who narrowly miss out, the LCQ offers a final opportunity to join the World Championship lineup. This global event will grant its winner the last coveted spot.
World Championship
The year culminates in the World Championship, featuring 16 top players:s

• Eight from the Masters Tour Championships
• Four from the Chinese-region competitive esports system
• Three global top Competitive Points earners
• One from the Last Chance Qualifier

Competitors will vie for the title and a share of the $500,000 prize pool.
This revamped structure underscores Blizzard's commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive competitive environment for Hearthstone enthusiasts worldwide.
