How do you choose the table at poker?

I always check the vibe before sitting, are players loose or tight? I prefer tables with a few recreational players, not all sharks. Watching a few hands helps spot who’s playing aggressive or passive. Stack sizes matter too, deep stacks mean bigger pots, short stacks mean tighter play. Online, I look at stats like VPIP and aggression levels. What about you?
