Is live dealer roulette really better than RNG?

Alright, so I’ve always been a sucker for live dealer games—especially roulette. There’s just something about seeing an actual wheel spin that makes it feel real. Maybe it’s the night shift talking, but watching that little ball bounce around at 3 AM with a fresh cup of coffee just hits different.

But here’s my question… am I just falling for the “illusion” of control? A buddy of mine swears RNG roulette is better because it’s faster and has no dealer errors. I get the logic, but man, it just feels soulless. I like the suspense, the little moments of doubt before the ball lands.

Anyone else feel the same way? Or am I overthinking this and should just embrace the digital age? Also—if you do play live roulette, which casino has the best experience? Some of them feel sketchy as hell with weird camera angles.
