Is this new quantum RNG a thing or a scam?

I've been diving into this whole quantum random number generator thing. Seems these gadgets tap into quantum mechanics to spit out truly random numbers, unlike our old-school pseudo-random ones. They're getting nods for beefing up cryptography and simulations. Plus, legit sources like the ANU Quantum Optics group are rolling out QRNGs. So, while it's wise to stay skeptical, QRNGs appear to be the real deal, not some scam. But always double-check the source before jumping on the bandwagon.
