The Yankees just took a big hit with injuries to Luis Gil and Giancarlo Stanton. Gil’s lat strain could sideline him for most of the season, leaving a hole in the rotation. Stanton, dealing with elbow tendinitis, might miss Opening Day, which is bad news for a lineup already missing Juan Soto. The team might have to lean on Marcus Stroman and find a solid DH replacement fast. Losing both a key pitcher and a power hitter this early could shake things up big time. The AL East is no joke, and the Yankees need to figure things out quick. Fingers crossed these guys heal up fast.
