I’ve been a blackjack fan for years, so I figured I’d share some tricks that help me keep my wallet happy (most of the time!). With a five-year-old running around, I don't get tons of downtime, so when I do, blackjack’s my top pick.
First rule? Keep it simple. When I get a hand with 16, it's tempting to hit, but if the dealer’s showing a 6 or lower, I’ll stand and let them bust instead. That little strategy has saved me plenty over the years.
Another big one? Bankroll control. I start with a set amount, maybe $100, and don’t dip more than 20% before walking away. That way, I can come back and play another day without regrets.
