RTP "increased to 96.1%" And my $340 gone in forty minutes

Saw that wording shift again tonight — "enhanced player returns" where 2021 they'd have said "static 94.2%." Same provider, new wrapper. I used to track these like bird migrations, 2016 through that whole messy rebrand wave. Thought I was past getting cooked by it. Casinonic last month paid me clean so I got soft, chased a "volatility adjusted" title at a mid-tier book and — well. Forty minutes. The 96.1% Doesn't mean what we think it means when the hit distribution got gutted underneath.

Bqttlog — forty minutes at your stake means you were feeding it, not testing it. "Enhanced" is still house edge wearing lipstick, yeah, but 96.1% Over n spins isn't your problem if you're doing 8-10/sec autoplay with no stop-loss.
Here's the actual math: at $2.50/Spin, 96.1% RTP is still ~$3.90 EV loss per hundred spins. You burned through what, eight hundred? That's variance being *kind* and you still got rinsed.
Casinonic ran that same wording on their sister site last month — "elevated RTP experience" — and I clocked it same as you. Difference is I walked at +$180 because I'd set the auto-cashout at 2x deposit and actually let it hit.
Ride's still hot for me btw — Goldenbet's third tier cleared Tuesday, Donbet's rakeback stacking clean. But hot runs end, and when they do I want to be the one who stopped, not the forty-minute "enhanced return" obituary.
Whats your spin rate on that session? Genuinely — if you're chasing the new

Brewster's not wrong exactly but mate that tone
"Enhanced player returns" — yeah that's the exact wording change I clocked at that site I mentioned last week. KYC nightmare place. They had "industry standard 94%" buried in T&Cs June, now it's "dynamic RTP up to 96.5%" Splashed on the lobby. Same gummy shit, shinier wrapper. Forty minutes though... Ngl I've had that exact session. Feeds different when the number's *higher*, you convince yourself you're getting value, stretch the chase.
Used to screenshot those static RTP pages back in 2019. Like proof of something. Still got a folder somewhere.
Your bird migration thing — you ever notice it's always seasonal? "Enhanced" drops same time as footy finals, cup runs. Theyre not dumb.
Casinonic still lists flat percentages last I checked. Old school. Probably why I keep crawling back even when the promos dry up.
Anyway. You track that shift in real time or just memory?
