Big Premier League weekend coming up, and I’ve been eyeing a few bets that look interesting. First off, Brighton vs Nottingham Forest—Brighton have been way better away from home, and I like the idea of them scoring early. They’ve got a habit of netting inside the first 20-25 minutes on the road, so a bet on them getting ahead early seems worth a shot.
Then there’s Bournemouth vs Liverpool—Bournemouth have been flying lately, but Liverpool have a way of bringing teams back down to earth. I don’t see the Cherries pulling off a win here, but what really caught my attention is Kepa Arrizabalaga’s save stats. Liverpool rack up shots on target, and if Kepa starts, I’d take a look at him making 5+ saves.
For Everton vs Leicester, Beto could be a good shout. With Calvert-Lewin and Broja out, he should get plenty of chances, and under Moyes, Everton will probably play higher up the pitch. If the books are offering 4+ shots for Beto at decent odds, I might take a stab at that one.
Lastly, Newcastle vs Fulham—Alexander Isak has been on fire, scoring at a ridiculous rate. His shots-on-target numbers are solid, so I’d be looking at him to get 2+ SOT, and with Fulham scoring in most of their away games, both teams to score could be a solid pick.
What’s everyone else betting on this weekend? Anything I’m missing?
