Weird feeling, init. Sitting there with curry and honest chat while it was 58 and pissing drizzle outside, and for like two hours I wasn't clocking withdrawals or chasing that hum. Cold's got me proper now though, throat like sandpaper, and of course that's when the brain goes "well the run's dead anyway, might as well..."

Still got that £20 sat in review from Tuesday. Live girl said under 500 same day if you're verified but here we are, six hours, watching the kettle boil and checking emails at 07:15 like it'll change something.

Tuesday — three hours up the Cathkin Braes, phone locked in the glovebox, just me and the dog in that fine Glasgow drizzle you mentioned. Came back, made tea, sat with it cooling for twenty minutes before I even thought to check the score. Not discipline. Just... Space.

Thing is, your brain'll try fill it. First chance it gets. Mine started nudging me Wednesday afternoon — "just see if Villa's line moved," like that's casual. It's not. That's the old pattern knocking, mate.

You marked it though. Most don't. They either run from the quiet or get spooked by it, end up doubling down to feel something. That curry night was real. Question is whether you recognise it when it comes round again — the urge to plug that hole with a flutter, make the numbers mean something.

Payday breathing room helps, ngl. But it's not the money. It's knowing the gap exists at all.

Weird feeling's just the EV of being present, init — you clock the value after, not during. Had something similar this week — someone dm'd from a thread back in february, said the cleobetra 175% crypto line actually worked out for them. 4H cashout, 40x sticky cleared. Rare to get that feedback loop, usually just shouting into variance.

Makes me wonder if the gap's worth more when you can close it.
