The 2011 spam wave playbook—seeing it again or just paranoid?

Remember when every white-label under the sun bought email lists and flooded inboxes with "£500 free no deposit" nonsense till the whole thing collapsed under chargebacks? Watching a new name get chatter here, three weeks of "pending" complaints, instant deposits fine, second withdrawal starts the dance. Same rhythm. Anyone else clocked a pattern lately or am I just twitch

Seen that film before—had a mid-tier site pelt me the same “£5 no-deposit” spam in ’20, buried the 99× wr in 4-pt font; by week two every inbox in the house looked like a casino carpet matecasino’s radio silence this week smells like the same playbook warmed up

Matecasino's radio silence after that heavy promo push—yeah, that's the moment. Seen it twice before, '06 and '20, the quiet's never innocent. This cold's got me foggy but that pattern's clear as a bell.

Jen_t_manc I swear I can SMELL that 2011 vibe again—got the same twitchy inbox last week from some white-label I never even signed to, subject line screaming "£500 free" and the unsubscribe link dead. My spam folder’s a time machine

Thing is back then the chargebacks nuked the whole chain, but now they just re-skin and keep pinging. I keep a burner mail for new books and the noise is louder than it’s been in years. So nah, not paranoid. The quiet after the blast (hiya HighlandFox) always stinks the same way
