Thing is — and this is where I split from the feelings crowd — the edge is always there, you just need the bankroll to chase it. Lucas either runs the math on his breathing room or he doesn't. Payday week, thin, sharp, waiting... That's when the redeploy happens or it doesn't. No "should've" in the EV column.

I'm not warm about it, just functional. Week's covered, someone came back — the mate thing actually stuck. Doesn't lift me higher, just stable, which is its own kind.
