Valuable information from losing bets

We are all playing the long game here so I like to think I apply lessons learned from losing bets ( as much as I like to blame variance HA) but how do YOU go through the post mortem of any bet to try and avoid any pitfalls in the future?

Me, I found myself often losing by just a point and I used to always say sportsbetting was rigged and be done with it HA, but i realized that these near misses couldve been avoided by just line shopping a bit.

Now I have accounts on like 15 bookies so I make sure I’m getting the best possible spread, you’d be surprised how often you can get a way better line with some patience and work.
