Being from Munich, I grew up around the Alps, so I’ve always followed skiing, snowboarding, and biathlon events. But betting on them? That’s a whole different game.
I’ve had mixed luck with betting on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup—sometimes the underdogs come through, especially in unpredictable weather. One time, I backed a lesser-known skier in the Hahnenkamm downhill event, and he pulled off a shocking win. But then there are days when the conditions completely ruin any pre-race predictions.
Does anyone here regularly bet on winter sports? Do you find it’s just too volatile, or do you have strategies that actually work?
