Can you use DraftKings in Texas?

Alright, here’s one for the legal eagles and sports betting enthusiasts out there: I was having a chat with some friends the other day about whether you can actually use DraftKings in Texas. The conversation got a little heated (as these things do), with half the crew swearing you can use it for daily fantasy sports, while the rest were saying the sportsbook side is completely off-limits because of Texas’ legal restrictions.

I know Texas isn’t exactly a hotspot for legalized sports betting, but does anyone know the full scoop? Is daily fantasy betting technically legal here, or is even that in a gray area? And for the sportsbook fans—are we out of luck unless the laws change?

Would love to hear what others know or if anyone’s found a way to make it work. Let’s sort this out—Texas sports fans need some clarity!

From what I know, you can use DraftKings for daily fantasy sports in Texas since it’s considered a game of skill, not luck. But yeah, the sportsbook side is a no-go—Texas laws are super strict on sports betting.
