Betting on the Knicks: Jalen Brunson's return could be a game changer

Here’s my take on the Knicks' playoff run and why it might be a good time to throw some cash on them. Jalen Brunson’s been out for a bit with that nasty sprained ankle from the Lakers game, but the word is he’s making progress. No boot, steady rehab, and they’re expecting him back before the April 13th regular-season finale.

Now, here's the juicy part: If he gets back in the groove and suits up for a few games before the playoffs, the Knicks could be a sneaky good bet. Right now, their odds to win a playoff series are hovering around +200 on Bovada. Threw $300 down on that, and if it hits, that’s a clean $600 payout. Not bad for a squad with a hot Brunson firing on all cylinders. 😎

Also put in a future bet on the Knicks making it to the Eastern Conference Finals at +1000. Tossed $100 on that one. Yeah, it’s a long shot, but if Brunson’s back and balling, it could pay off $1,000.

Thibodeau’s plan to have him get some court time before the postseason is the key here. No point betting against them if he’s back and healthy. If they play him just before the playoffs, his conditioning won’t be a worry.

Anyone else thinking about rolling the dice on the Knicks now that Brunson’s return is looking more likely? The odds could shift real quick once he's officially back on the court.
