Coolhand_Luke said chase the dragon and I chased it straight into a ditch

So I'm sitting here 7:15pm, Felicia's on night shift which means the apartment's got that heavy quiet where every notification sounds like a door opening. Remembered my Ignition password from 2021 — two years locked out, two years of "I'm done," and somehow the muscle memory in my fingers knew.

0.08 BTC gone in what felt like fifteen minutes. Probably was forty-five. Same timeframe as BitStarz back in March, same sick rhythm. Gates of Olympus was eating hits like I'd insulted its mother. That 890 screenshot from Jackbit in June keeps haunting me, man. Coolhand_Luke DM'd me after I posted it, said "that's the dragon, brother, you gotta chase when she's breathing." I screenshotted his message too. Validation hoarding, my ex called it. She's not wrong.

The worst part? I wasn't even tilting. That's what I'm trying to tell myself. I was *calculated*. Watched the multipliers, waited for the dry spell to break. It always breaks, right? That's the whole theology. Miami Heat came back from 15 down against Denver while I was bleeding on mBit that one night, felt cosmically connected, doubled down, lost both. Thought I learned.

Payday was supposed to be breathing room. Unexpected bill ate half of it anyway, so the math said "protect the stack." The math don't account for 7pm silence and a remembered password.

MBit's VIP host reached out once, made me feel seen. Nobody's seen me tonight. Just refreshing withdrawal

Slept properly for once and the whole day felt easier, but reading this takes me straight back to that heavy quiet youre describing. Only difference is mine's 9pm, low-stakes live-dealer bj loading, and ive learned to keep the volume low so the chat notifications don't spike my heart rate when I'm down.

Chase the dragon lol. Meanwhile I just cashed out mate — nothing wild, green enough to clear that bill finally, but the knot's already tightening again. Next squeeze's coming, always is.

That 7:15pm silence though... That's when the maths stops working and you start negotiating with yourself. Seen it too many times. Bonanza88 used to own that hour for half the forum, same pattern, new faces.

You still in the session or you walked away?

RasputinTheZar — Felicia's on night shift hits different, don't it? That heavy quiet's where the brain does its worst math. I've been there, 2006 in a Denton apartment, same deal, same hours, same convinced-every-notification's-a-judgment vibe.

Chase the dragon's a hell of a phrase. Coolhand_Luke meant well probably but some advice ages like milk in a hot car. The ditch part though — that's just geography. You climb out, you learn the roads that go there.

Slept proper last night for once, whole day felt lighter. Still braced for the next squeeze but I'm calling that a win. You'll get your quiet back too, just maybe not tonight.

RasputinTheZar that heavy quiet's a killer mate — Felicia's absence and suddenly youre rehearsing every bad decision in stereo. Ive had casino bello's live-chat window open at 3am just for the typing indicator, someone *there* while the flat does its silence thing. The notification dread's real though, phone buzzes like a verdict. Youre not alone in that flat, even when it feels like it.
