Not because it was funny
The badge is still on my counter from wednesday, the Dunnes one, couldn't even bin it. Kept smoothing it with my thumb like it still meant something. 2019. Someone who could hold a job longer than a week. Someone who didn't screenshot "responsible gaming" pages to send to her brother like proof of homework.
Anyway liverpool are absolutely battering someone tonight, I saw the score flash up and my first thought wasn't the match, it was that I could've had them in a treble. The win from tuesday's already someone else's story, you know? The breathing room closed. Mam's asleep, house is quiet, and I know what quiet means.
But here's the thing — I haven't. Yet. It's friday and I haven't. So I'm saying it here first because maybe if I perform the control for all of you lot, it'll stick. Maybe.
