Alright, who else caught Rex Ryan on NFL Countdown this morning? I couldn’t believe the guy. He’s out here defending Tomlin like going above .500 and barely sneaking into the playoffs is some kind of gold standard. Newsflash: getting knocked out in the first round isn’t the standard—not for a team that’s supposed to be aiming for rings.

Honestly, I’d rather be in the shoes of teams like the Browns or Giants right now. Yeah, they’ve been through the wringer, but at least they’re drafting high and trying to rebuild something solid. What’s the point of just treading water every season? Feels like we’re stuck in mediocrity while other teams are laying the groundwork for something real.
