Payday breathing room — yeah, know that exact shrinkage. Mine landed last week too, bit of space for once, and I swear I caught myself already mentally spending it on some "responsible" punt before the water bill even cleared. The relief never sits still long enough to be *felt*.

Still grinding? Always, mate. Though lately I'm more staring at water than fishing in it. Partner's not wrong about that one.

I do that too, still. Catch myself pricing sessions in my head during the commute. The breathing room's never as thick as it looks from a distance

Galo_diogo — aye, every time's the truth of it. That mental spending jen_t_manc's on about, I've had it bleed whole paydays before the cash even clears. Used to parcel mine out same way: this bit for the meter, that bit for goldenbet, the rest for "emergencies" that always ended up slots-shaped.

Celtic's title run's been a decent distraction tbf, though the disorder after's pure Glasgow — can't have nice things. Keeps me off the reload calendar some evenings at least.
