I know some people lump bingo in with gambling, but I don’t really see it that way. Gambling, to me, is about risking money with the intention of winning more—poker, slots, sports betting, all of that. Bingo feels different. It’s more of a social game, where you’re paying for the entertainment and the chance to win a little something on the side.
Unlike casinos, where the house always has the edge, bingo is pretty straightforward—you pay for your card, and the numbers are completely random. There’s no strategy, no skill, no house edge manipulating the game. You can’t really "lose" in the same way you do in gambling because you’re not continuously betting more money to stay in the game. You just play your cards and enjoy the experience.
For me, it’s more like buying a ticket to a raffle or playing the lottery in a community hall. It’s about fun, not the rush of gambling. What do you all think?
