What a game, huh? Athletic Club taking down Real Madrid 2-1 at San Mamés was something else! I had two bets riding on this match, and let's just say it was a rollercoaster.
Bet 1: Match Outcome – Draw No Bet on Athletic Club
I like playing it a little safe sometimes, so I went for a "Draw No Bet" on Athletic Club. They’ve been strong at home lately, and Real Madrid has looked shaky in LaLiga despite their recent streak. That safety net was there, but with Athletic Club pulling off the win, it paid out nicely without the "draw" worry kicking in.

This one stung. I had a feeling both teams would come out swinging, especially with Real Madrid chasing Barcelona in the standings. At halftime, with only one goal on the board, I was still hopeful. But when that 2-1 score held through the 96th minute, I knew my "Over 2.5" dreams were toast. Close, but not quite.
All in all, I broke even thanks to the Draw No Bet, but wow, what a night. This match showed why betting on LaLiga games in the USA is such a rush—you never know when an underdog like Athletic Club will rise up.
