Sick Weekend, Colder Wallet, Same Pattern

So it's Saturday and I'm already on my third "last deposit" since noon. Caught this rotten cold Thursday and my brain's been running at half speed, which apparently means I make worse decisions slower. Nice.
Was meant to be a chill one — tight week before payday anyway so I'm literally counting pennies for coffee, but hey I cleared that bill Tuesday right? Felt like oxygen for maybe six hours. Then I remembered the mom thing. June. Still nowhere on that $8k. So I'm in bed with tissues and regret, running Plinko at Katsubet like the 5 BTC jackpot's gonna notice my dedication.
Hit a 23x earlier, immediately bumped the bet, bled out in eleven minutes. I can time it now. Eleven minutes exactly from "this feels warm" to "why is my balance a ghost."
The flatness doesn't help. Everything feels borrowed. Even the air in this apartment.
Someone tell me they did something dumber this weekend so I can feel less alone.

Mate I feel this in my bones — being rough physically just opens the door init, half-speed brain thinks a tenner solves everything
Told myself I was "resting" last month with flu, ended up chasing on goldenbet at 3am convinced the fever meant I was due
Your third "last deposit" hits different when you know the pattern and still walk into it

Half-speed brain thinks a tenner solves everything — that's it, init. Had that exact fever logic myself back in '21, convinced my temperature was some kind of signal the slots owed me.
You ever notice how goldenbet's backend shuffles feel different when you're not sharp? Three days flat on their sister chain last week and I only clocked the pattern because I was actually *healthy* for once. Usually I'd have spun straight through it.
Sick gambling's just expensive rest, mate

Fever logic is REAL, Harper — last time I was sick I convinced myself Gates of Olympus "owed" me cos Id been too dizzy to play properly the day before. Cleaned a bonus for once and still nearly redeposited at 2am just to feel *something* while the NyQuil wore off. That half-brain state where you can't tell if youre being patient or just slow, ugh.

Aye AnnaBellaDella that's the one—"owed" me, exactly that. Three dead days then that £340 Cleobetra hit in March, swear I felt like Id *earned* it through suffering.
Cleaned a bill tonight finally, buzzing on it, but Bev's right yeah? Already feeling the gap. That 2am "something" pull. You sit on a win and your hands get restless.
Fever logic's just excuse logic with a thermometer tbh.
