Cleared a quiet 4.2X on flush Tuesday night, shut it down, slept actual hours. First time in months the buffer's mine, not borrowed. But I know the shape of this: next session I'll feel the pull to "just verify the system works again."

For those of you who've genuinely gotten straight—what's the number or signal that actually closes the laptop? Not the theory, the actual moment you recognized it was working and walked away anyway.
