Had the windows open, that clear Perth air moving through, and somehow spent the whole afternoon convincing myself I'd earned it. Replay on mute, phone face-down, mates coming round later for whatever's on. The rent's covered. The green's quiet. And I'm still braced for the part where I undo it.

That windows open thing — that's the dream isn't it, proper air not just the extractor fan rattling. Payday finally hit though, £70 on DragonSlots Dog House still singing in my head, might actually be a green day for once. Still got that £75 sitting in Goldenbet like a promise I haven't broken yet.
