RTP, or "return to player," is one of the first things I check before spinning the reels. What is RTP? In simple terms, it’s the percentage of wagered money a slot machine pays back over time. The higher, the better—at least in theory.
From my research, the highest RTP slots are games like Mega Joker (99%), 1429 Uncharted Seas (98.6%), and Blood Suckers (98%). I’ve personally had the best luck with Gonzo’s Quest (95.97%)—not the highest RTP casino slot, but the cascading reels keep things exciting.
That said, RTP is calculated over millions of spins. In reality, short-term variance can be brutal. I once went 100 spins on Jackpot 6000 (up to 98.9% RTP) and hit nothing but dead spins. Meanwhile, a friend of mine hit a massive win on Starburst, which has a lower RTP at 96.1%.
Do you guys strictly stick to high RTP slots, or do you play whatever looks fun? Have you had better luck with higher return-to-player games?
