UK regs eye crypto payments again — who's actually ready?

Read the iGaming Business piece on scrapping 'aim to permit' and the knock-on pressure for reform. Made me wonder which crypto books are quietly building compliance infrastructure versus which ones are just hoping the hammer falls on someone else first. I treat my crypto deposits as entertainment budget with a fast exit in mind, but if the UK pushes KYC upstream into wallet rails, that exit gets slower. Anyone seen actual policy prep from the brands we use, or is it all wait-and-see? BitStarz mBit Vave

Ngl PearlDistrictJen that 'aim to permit' scrap feels like watching someone finally admit the house has termites after they've been selling extensions on it for years

Mate Ive seen enough "consultations" come and go — remember when they were gonna standardise RTP displays across the board? Still waiting on that one lol

The crypto books that are actually ready won't be the ones shouting about compliance on LinkedIn tho, that's the thing. Quietly building means quietly building. DragonSlots had their LTC pipeline sorted last summer while others were still blaming "network congestion" for 3-hour deposits, you could just tell who was paying proper dev wages vs who had a wordpress and a dream

But here's what gets me — half the "reform" talk still treats crypto punters like we're all wiring drug money or something. Mate I just want my withdrawal before the weekend without some compliance officer in Slough deciding my source of funds needs a three-act tragedy explained in PDF form

Who's actually ready? The ones who stopped pretending they were fintech startups and just built proper rails. Rest are gonna get caught in the gap between "we're exploring" and "we're licensed" and

Proper theatre that — at least goldencrown just pays without the performance, had mine at 3am once no drama no nodding consultant

Derek still owes me 200 and wont open my messages so maybe im just starved for anything that actually works
