Was Davis vs Garcia fair?

Anyone else still hyped about the Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia fight? Or should I say "Tank vs Ryan"? That was one of the craziest boxing match-ups I’ve seen in a while. The clash of styles, the build-up, the "who’s the better tank boxer" debates—it had everything. I still remember sitting there, shouting at the screen, and nearly spilling my beer during the final rounds. 😂

Honestly, the Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis bout lived up to all the trash talk and then some. If you’re into tactical, explosive fights, these two guys didn’t disappoint. I’ve followed a lot of big fights over the years, but the Gervonta Davis Ryan Garcia showdown hit different. Tank Davis’ power was unreal—like, man was throwing punches with the force of a wrecking ball!

For those who missed the action and are wondering where to watch Ryan Garcia fight highlights, I suggest scouring YouTube before they take the good clips down. The Davis fight was packed with those “did that just happen?” moments, so do yourself a favor and relive it.

What do y’all think about the outcome? Fair? Rigged?

I reckon it was, didn't seem like anyone wasn't playing their top game. However, it was the most amazing fight.

I kinda made it fun for myself iykwm cause I put a bet through the Bovada sportsbook and then I decided to amp the stakes a bit up and claimed the My Bookie bonus cause they had a high match and this was my safe bet…

I think other bookies went and just rigged the odds so we’ll all be confused, but it was a low hanging fruit if you ask me

Fair? Sure, but Garcia didn’t adapt fast enough, IMO. You can’t stand there waiting for Tank to hand you a blueprint.

Tank’s skills are refined and calculated, while Ryan’s strategy seemed too aggressive at times. Tactical fights like this are the pinnacle of boxing.

Man, that fight was fire! Tank’s punches were like cannons, dude ain’t called ‘Tank’ for nothin’. Ryan gave it his all, but Tank’s power is on another level. Fair outcome for sure, but I’m betting we’ll see a rematch someday.

Ahhh Tank had that KO energy from the start, bro! Ryan had heart, tho, props for stepping in that ring. A rematch? YES please!

Totally agree. Tank was methodical, which is why he dominated. Ryan’s flashy speed didn’t match the power game. Classic case of brains vs brawn.

Davis vs Garcia was a fascinating matchup, but fairness is tricky here. The catchweight and rehydration clause arguably gave Davis an edge, but Garcia's performance was still commendable given those constraints. The question is whether boxing politics undermined the competition itself. Anyone else think the terms might’ve tipped the scales?
