Weekend off topic, what are you doing with your two days

Fancied a corner of the forum that isn't about odds, slots, KYC or any of the usual. Use this for whatever you've got going on outside the betting stuff this weekend. Books you're reading, shows you're behind on, recipes you're trying, the dog you took for a walk, the run you didn't manage to do, the album that's on repeat. Anything but operator talk.

Reason for keeping this off-topic is the regulars in here spend enough time staring at lines and lobbies. It's nice to step away from it for one thread a week and remember everyone's got a life outside the spreadsheet of bet history.

A few prompts if you're stuck:

  • What you're watching this weekend. Three episodes deep into something or staring at the homepage refusing to pick.
  • The last meal you cooked that turned out properly. Or the one that didn't.
  • What's on the music rotation. A single song or the whole album that's been refusing to leave your head.
  • Reading anything? Fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks, magazine binge, all of it.
  • Plans for Saturday and Sunday. Big trip, small ones, or the couch.

I'll kick it off. Spent most of last weekend trying to make a half-decent ramen broth at home, which turned into a 12-hour pork bones situation that the kitchen still smells of. Was worth it for about three bowls. Reading-wise, slowly working through a backlog of crime fiction, currently on a Mick Herron, the prose is sharper than I remembered. Watching the new series everyone's banging on about which I've been deliberately avoiding to dodge spoilers, will probably catch up this weekend.

This weekend is mostly a walk somewhere green on Saturday if the rain holds off, then nothing planned for Sunday which feels rare these days.

Your turn, what's the move.

Finally tackled the loft clearout I've been putting off for 4 years. Three skip trips, two boxes of stuff actually worth donating, one box of 'why did I keep this'. Found a sketchbook from 2007 that's better than anything I've drawn since. Take from that what you will. Reward this evening is a quiet pint and an early night.
